The underlying map shows four different clusters of Countries with participants in Security Research funded under the European Unions’ Seventh Framework Programme. The clusters are arranged in order of the CSO rate within the countries participants.
The green Cluster is the smallest cluster, and has the highest participation rate (10%, or more) of CSOs within their participants in FP7-SEC. Except Belgium, there are only small players with a very low participation in general within this Cluster.
The yellow Cluster has the second highest CSO participants rate, with an average of 7,9% of CSOs within their FP7-SEC participants. It is also the second biggest Cluster in terms of total participants.
The orange Cluster has an average rate of 2,9% of CSOs within their FP7-SEC participants. It is the biggest Cluster in terms of total participants, including almost half of all FP7-SEC participants.
The red Cluster has no CSOs at all within their FP7-SEC participants. Most countries are in this cluster.
